Terms & Conditions
Swimmers already having lessons with SwimSure will have priority on places provided they re-book on time. Re-bookings are normally done towards the end of the second half of each term. All other places are booked on a first come first served basis.
SwimSure will endeavour to be flexible in its allocation of time slots however it may not always be possible to book or re-book your first choice. The group that the child is put in will be at the teacher’s discretion.
All bookings and re-bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.
BACS is the preferred method of payment, cheques will be accepted but places are only confirmed once the cheque has been cleared.
Refunds for non-attendance will not be given.
Term lengths may vary and prices are based on number of lessons per term.
In the unusual event of a teacher’s absence, we will make every effort to provide a replacement teacher. However if this is not possible classes may be joined together where it is considered appropriate.
SwimSure hires the pools from the school, and is therefore not directly responsible for the pool maintenance. In the unusual event of a pool closure we may offer an alternative venue. No refunds will be given. If no alternative is available credit notes will be given in lieu of payment for future lessons.
In the event of pool closures that are beyond our or the pool's control, refund's will not be given. An example of this may be bad weather which may mean the roads are closed or are unsafe. We will announce pool closures on our website and on our answer machine.
It is not the responsibility for SwimSure to look after pupils prior to their arrival on the poolside or once they have left. Parents are responsible for children in the changing area. If a parent wishes to speak to the teacher they must wait till the lesson is over to arrange a suitable time. The teacher will not be able to answer questions during lessons.
SwimSure adheres to the regulations laid down by the letting facility for each pool. Please follow any instructions given by the teacher regarding this.
Please be changed and ready to start on time for the lesson.
We would like to remind all swimmers that swimming hats must be worn during lessons. This is to assist with the swimmers breathing practices and will also help to keep the filtration system clear. We have hats available to purchase at £1.50.
If your child is swimming please do not leave the premises during the lesson and ensure you are there to collect them at the end. Please inform the teacher if someone else is collecting your child.
